                Yoga

                Bikram
Yoga is the original hot yoga. This therapeutic sequence of 26
yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises [developed by Bikram Choudhury]
systematically works every part of the body. Bikram Yoga stimulates
the organs, glands and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood to
100 percent of the body, restoring all systems to a healthy working
order. In class you will combine the skills of concentration,
patience, determination, and self-control, which will lead you
to a powerful mind/body connection, increased mental clarity,
and reduced stress. Suitable for all ability levels, no prior
experience or flexibility is necessary. Practiced in a hot room, the heat helps your body warm up and access the connective tissues while detoxing the body. Room Temp: 105 degrees with 40% humidity. Class duration:
                  90 minutes.

                A shorter
version of the classic 26 & 2. Expect less instruction and
a cooler room. A great introduction to the series; a little "yoga fix" when you don't have time for a full class. Room Temp: 100 degrees.Class duration: 60 minutes.

                Yin Yoga
is a passive style of yoga that incorporates longer holds [between
2 - 6 minutes] to release the fascia [connective tissues] and
to quiet the mind. Yin is mainly done sitting or lying on your
mat and is a complimentary practice to the more active styles
of yang yoga (Bikram, Vinyasa) and for those who participate in
high-energy workouts [Inferno Hot Pilates]. Practiced in a warm
room, expect lots of slow stretching, deep breathing, and a focus
on mind/body connection. All Levels. Class duration: 60 minutes.

This yoga class leaves the student extremely relaxed. It encompasses a gravitational surrender in yoga poses to safely and deeply access the connective tissue. As you let gravity pull at the fascia, you will sweat and improve your flexibility. The asanas progressively work one side of the body and then the other. Expect the perfect marriage of a Yin yoga flow to a meditative yoga nidra. Raja is perfect for beginners as well as advanced students.
Room temp: 90 degrees.Class duration: 90 minutes of bliss.

Warm Yoga blends a sequence of traditional standing, balancing, and floor yoga postures; pranayama; and meditation accessible to all levels of ability and all bodies. This class is practiced in a warm room with music. The heat warms the muscles and connective tissue in this alignment-focused stationary practice to improve flexibility, increase strength and stability, and build resilience, facilitating a deeper workout for the body and a stronger mind-body connection. Room temp: 90 degrees. Class duration: 75 minutes.

Yoga Nidra translates to “Yogic Sleep.” This practice allows for deeply profound relaxation. Class begins with minimal, gentle movements [seated or reclined] to help release any stiffness before becoming still. Then lying on your back [in savasana], you will be guided through a detailed meditation that will allow your mind and body to slip into a deep state of relaxation.
 All Levels.
 Class duration: 75 minutes.

This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Postures (seated or reclined) are held for long periods of time to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. Props [bolsters and blankets] support the body allowing both body and mind to experience complete surrender. This class is ideal for people seeking to slow down, connect to their breath, and restore the connection of body, mind and spirit. All Levels. Class duration: 75 minutes.

Sunday Reboot offers mindfully aligned stationary yoga sequences incorporating active and passive poses to facilitate balance, flexibility, strength, and resilience. This class encourages self-study as each student explores and adapts the practice to his or her abilities and needs, inviting contemplation, reflection, and inner stillness – and preparing the mind and body for the week ahead. Room temp: 90 - 95 degrees. Class duration: 90 minutes.
